Casa Oso is 200 meters from the beach at Playa Lagartillo. 2km from the beach at Playa Avellanas and 2.5 km from Playa Negra. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other room is a pull out couch with a TV, so it can be used as a living room with TV or second bedroom.
A 210 meters walk straight down the beach this small home is ideal for those on a budget that want beach access. It’s one of the most beautiful container homes you will find, with stylish kitchen and bathroom that are modern and sleek.
A 250 meters from the beach, this couldn’t be a better spot. Walk to sunset every night or walk on the beach with your coffee every morning, you pick. There is a queen bed in one room and a pull out couch in another. The kitchen is spacious and the deck is a great spot for coffee.
The home is small, but modern and well equipped 2 bedroom 1 bath. There is a pool onsite and the beach is 250 metres down the beach path. The home’s porch overlooks a peaceful ravine that is a creek in rainy season. Everyone enjoys the tranquility of the location.
This two bedroom close to the beach is a great stay! Queen bed in one room and bunk beds in the other. The kitchen cabinets, the beds, shelves, etc, are all handcrafted.
It’s a simple place, but clean, with kitchen, bathroom, eating area, AC, and a great rooftop sitting area. It also now has a TV.

We’ve created a small community of homes around a central pool and rancho in Lagartillo. The property has easy access to the beach path. Lagartillo is between the popular Avellanas and Playa Negra, perfect location for surfers wanting nearby surf, or Lagartillo itself is a great local family spot for kids, its known locally as a calmer beach for families.

This was a stopover as we traveled the coast but I can’t say enough great things about this unit and the property.
It is a short walk to the beach with a stunning sunset. The pool is clean (and warm) and there is a huge gazebo to sit in shade and read.
The unit is spacious and well adorned. All the amenities you could need to cook meals. Spotless. Big TV (which we connected to our iPad). The Wifi was fast and the beds were so comfortable.
All in all, a fantastic stay and we will definitely be back and extending our stay!

“Pura Vida”
Casa Mono is beautiful, comfortable, functional, and so close to the ocean! We loved the porch, pool, larger property, and host. Beautiful birds, howler monkeys, horses and iguanas around us daily. Right across the street from a gorgeous, quiet beach great for swimming and sunsets. Short drive to Avellanas, Playa Negra, and Junquillal. When they say “pura vida” this is what they mean.

Das Casa Mia ist ein super Ort um sich zu entspannen. Der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar, wer nicht ans Meer möchte kann den Pool benutzen.

Hermoso complejo bungalows super bien equipados y con acabados muy modernos y finos. Camas muy confortables y un deck muy lindo que da a la vegetación. Excelente lugar para relajarse en familia y llevar a tu mascota.
La piscina es deliciosa y queda cerca de muchas playas como Junquillal, Avellanas y Lagartillo por supuesto. Siempre estuvieron atentos a que estuviéramos bien.
